284: Eye Spy Trouble

Help!

I fear I am going blind.

I have had an eye infection for some time and, so far, it has not responded to treatment. I have had ointments and drops but nothing seems to clear it up. I get a discharge from my eye which clouds my vision. Jacky does her best to wipe it clear periodically but it soon appears again. I am sure I will have to go o the vetsagain soon - yet another life trauma - but even that is better than losing my sight.

The only saving grace is that it has not spread to the other eye, so I am thankful for that.

It is (not surprisingly) preying on my mind, causing me interrupted sleep - last night I woke John at 2 am to open the door so I could go into the garden, have a wee and look st the flowers while I still have sight. Of course I didn’t last night because it was dark - what a stupid oversight/miscalculation.

I will keep you posted about progress (or lack of it) - assuming I can still use the computer.

Just think how terrible it would be if this blog had to cease …. especially for you!
